ADOPTION INFORMATION

Adoptions are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. We do not do same-day adoptions and it typically takes our team a few business days to process an application. Once you have an approved application, the application is approved for six months.

If you have a cat in mind, please do let us know on the application. If you aren’t sure which cat you may want but want to be approved already, go ahead an submit your application so we can get it approved. Then, you pick your forever baby and the adoption process is fast from there!

Because Freedom Hearts operates as a foster home-based rescue, we can organize meet-n-greets for approved applicants on a case-by-case basis. We are not able to offer this for unapproved adopters.

Therefore, if you’re interested in adopting one of our foster cats, the first step is to complete our Adoption Application in its entirety.
